How do reminders work?
Turn on Care reminders in DwellTick’s Settings, then allow iOS notifications. Due-date reminders are scheduled for 9 AM. Check Focus and notification settings if they don’t appear.
The app schedules the nearest 60 future notices and refreshes them when you use it. Open DwellTick periodically to keep the schedule current. Past-due tasks stay visible in Today.
How do repeat dates work?
Completion-based schedules start from the date you finish the task. Fixed schedules keep the original calendar rhythm and skip missed dates after a completion. Edit the due date to reset the schedule.
How do I protect or move my journal?
In Settings, choose Export a full backup and save it to Files in a separate location. A JSON backup includes the whole journal. CSV exports include service history for spreadsheets.
Importing a backup replaces the journal on that device, so export its current journal first. Automatic cross-device sync is not included. Files you export can be read by anyone you share them with.
What’s free, and what does Pro add?
The free journal includes unlimited tasks and care records, due-date reminders, CSV export and full backups. There are no ads.
Optional Pro adds printable PDF care reports, yearly cost summaries, annual care estimates based on your history, and advance reminders. Monthly and annual plans include the same features. Apple shows the price before you confirm a purchase.
How do I restore, manage or cancel Pro?
Open the Pro screen and choose Restore purchases using the Apple Account that subscribed. Choose Manage to see or cancel the subscription, or use your device’s Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Deleting the app or its records does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles payments and billing and refund requests.
What happens when Pro ends?
Your tasks, care history, basic reminders and free exports remain available. PDF reports, cost planning and advance reminders require an active subscription.
My journal won’t open. What now?
DwellTick preserves the saved file instead of resetting it. Try Restore recovery copy or import a full backup. The recovery copy is the previous successfully saved version, so it may not contain your latest edit.
If you need help, email support before deleting the app. Uninstalling removes the local journal.
